Do you own a Dell?

Dell and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission recently reported that over 4.1 million computer batteries could explode under certain atmospheric conditions causing short-circuit or fire. So if you use one be careful and follow these to avoid such mishaps.

Do not:

  • Over charge your Laptop
  • overload the battery
  • use the PC when not in use
  • use the PC in a hot place
  • let the battery heat too much
If the battery gets heated too much the liquid inside it may ooze out and may cause short-circuit thereby causing fire or in the worst case scenario, explode!
If you follow these precautions then there's no need for you to worry. Happy (and safe) surfing!
